Fundada y dirigida artísticamente por el pianista, compositor y director Manuel Tévar, Premio de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes , la orquesta Atlántida la integran 50 jóvenes talentos, representando por un lado una excelente primera generación de profesionales y por otro una brillante generación de jóvenes estudiantes que se encuentran culminando
su formación en grado de alto rendimiento musical. Desde su creación la orquesta ha desarrollado una intensa actividad por salas como el Auditorio Nacional de Música, Auditorio de Zaragoza, El Festival Las Piedras Cantan, Festival Noches del Infantado de Guadalajara, Festival Música Con Gusto Segovia, Auditorio Caja de Ávila entre otros, destacando entre la crítica su personalidad musical, su calidad, virtuosismo convirtiéndose en una de las orquesta jóvenes más destacadas
de la actualidad musical.
