Allyson June Smith (Can)

Since 2000, Allyson June Smith has been tickling Canada’s comedy scene from the moment she put down the chalk brush and picked up a mic.
Playing to packed rooms has become like another day in the classroom for this former school teacher.

Her credits include her own hour long Comedy Now special, appearances on CBC Radio’s hit show The Debaters, and the Winnipeg, Halifax and Just For Laughs Festivals, to name just a few. A multiple Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Stand-Up, she performs for audiences ranging from corporations to the most rural of gatherings. Whether she was the emcee, support, or headliner, she's delighted them all.

After working her way across Canada, Allyson now has taken her craft to the UK. Using her sassy blend of in-your-face stand-up and hilariously insightful commentary, she now works for major UK promoters and comedy clubs.

Xavier Castells (Esp)

Xavier Castells is an 'international Spanish' comedian who has recorded two special for TV's Comedy Central and recently won the Europe wide Haags Comedy Festival Competition in Holland.

After studying Stand up with some of the renowed teacher in the field as well as improvisational comedy and clown, Xavi won several national comedy awards. He created and performed in three theatre productions - 'Monologos Paralelos', 'Crazy Funny Comedy' and 'Men As Atrua', all three of which enjoyed runs of over two years with great audiences and to critical acclaim.

Xavi then decided to perform in English and this has taken him all over the Europe and beyond, with shows in USA (including Gotham NY), England (including Comedy Store London), Ireland, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Holland. Most recently Xavi has written and produced a new show called 'Records & Guiness', telling us about the world, and sharing some unbelievably true facts and weird news stories, all from his uniquely funny point of view. He has also been hosting Comedy Central Specials and acting as Master of Ceremonies for some major events in Spain.
