LA PRIMERA FECHA EN COLABORACION CON Canibal Sound System (Sala Apolo) SERA EL MISMO MIERCOLES 9 DE NOVIEMBRE CON LA PRESENTACION DE SU NUEVO ALBUM
“THINKING CLEAR”
El artista australiano, nacido en Melbourne, sacó el 26 Agosto de este año su tercer álbum, “THINKING CLEAR” y se prepara para hacer frente a una larga gira europea entre octubre y diciembre que lo traerá en las principales ciudades del continente.
Benjamin Stanford, su nombre de nacimiento, nació artísticamente en la calle.
Después de vivir seis años en una furgoneta, y después de actuar en las calles del mundo ha logrado crear una base de fans en todos los rincones del planeta que le ha permitido convertirse en la actualidad en uno de los artistas más respetados y conocidos de la nueva escena musical mundial .
En 2009, las redes sociales lo llevaron al ápice después de que el director Inglés Ben Dowden grabo algunos de su directos en la calle en Bristol y las subieron en su canal de Youtube.
Con más de 600.000 fans en Facebook y más de 100 millones de visitas en Youtube ahora es una fuente de inspiración para muchos artistas de todo el mundo.
Fuerte de 10 años de conciertos ha actuado en el los escenarios de los principales festivales como Glastonbury, Coachella, Sziget, Boomtown, Salir, Pukkelpop, Shambala y muchos muchos más.
Siempre en el desarrollo artístico, naciodo en colaboración con el bajista Evan Tweedie y el tecladista y saxofonista Andy V fue capaz de explorar nuevos procesos en la creación de sus canciones y en la ejecución de su live.
Su cuarto álbum, Thinking Clear, grabado en su “Treetop Studios” en Melbourne es una mezcla de géneros urbanos se complementan con textos del artista que siempre está implicado en el intento de remover la conciencia y el alma de las personas que lo escuchan .
El disco fue grabado en cuatro meses de estudio, pero muchos de los textos fueron escritos durante su gira anterior, que a su vez cuentan la esencia de el viaje continua del artista.
Dub Fx siempre con su música explora temas sociales, políticos y espirituales, y su mezcla de instrumentos y beatbox ahora la hace sonar más singular que nunca.
Por este evento en colaboración con las historicas fiestas del miércoles de Canibal Sound System abriremos puertas a las 20:30 donde Andy V, Convoy sound system y Mrfeex se encargaran de abrir y cerrar la actuación de DUB FX fx que tendrá lugar a 22:00 para llegar a las 00:30 donde seguirán Karlix y Rude Teo los residentes de Canibal Sound System
