Esta magnífica exposición sale por primera vez fuera de Italia, después de haber sido expuesta con gran éxito en Venecia, Padua, Verona, Turín, Milán y en el Museo de los Papas en Roma. Y en ella se podrá ver:
- Obra escultural de Sergio Rodella: El hombre que amortajó la Sábana Santa.
- Reproducción exacta de la Síndone, utilizada por el equipo investigador para hacer las mediciones.
- Fotografías y maquetas del esqueleto de acero articulado y que se fue adaptando de acuerdo a las mediciones extraídas de la Sábana Santa y que a su vez serviría de base a la escultura.
- Paneles explicativos de las distintas fases de la realización de la obra.
- Réplica del Sudario de Oviedo conocido por los ovetenses como el Pañolón de Oviedo.
- Resultado final de sobreponer la parte correspondiente del Sudario de Oviedo sobre el rostro del hombre de la Sábana Santa.
La muestra estará acompañada y custodiada por los Caballeros de la Orden del Templo del Reino de España y otros caballeros y damas llegados de prioratos del mundo entero.
