Sumérgete en el demente y fascinante mundo al revés de La Familia Addams, dónde estar triste es ser feliz, lo insensato realmente es sensato, sentir dolor es sentir alegría, lo imprudente para ellos es lo prudente y dónde los sueños están construidos por la muerte y el sufrimiento. La familia ha vivido en este 'statu quo' siempre, y Gómez y Morticia, pretenden mantener estos valores familiares durante los siglos de los siglos. Pero algo empieza a cambiar, sus hijos se empiezan a hacer mayores. Miércoles, acaba de cumplir los dieciocho años de edad y se ha enamorado de un tal Lucas Beineke, que empezará a formar parte de la familia.
En una fatídica pero hilarante noche en la que el joven va a casa de sus suegros, La Familia Addams va a tratar de evitar aquello de lo que han luchado por mantenerse alejados: el cambio.
