Cumbia regresa con Magnetismo (SoundWayRecords, Marzo 2016), su esperado nuevo álbum.
La Yegros nos visitará el próximo mes de Octubre, en una gira de salas, entre ellas (Sala Apolo [2]), de Barcelona Esta vez acompañada por LOS 300, bandarevelación de Groove Tropicádelico que nos presentará en primicia su nuevo single “The Fighting Kangaroo”, adelanto de su segundo e inminente nuevo álbum.
La Yegros ha gestado este disco en la gira internacional de su primer y anterior trabajo “Viene de mi’ Magnetismo transmite la interculturalidad musical que Mariana Yegros ha imantado por esta gira de más de dos años y medio de duración.
'Magnetismo', incorpora las tradiciones populares argentinas con ritmos de cortes rasgados y actitud punk imponiéndose en una escena de electro cumbia contemporánea
Magnetismo ha recibido muy buenas críticas de medios como The Guardian, Time Out y The Independient, entre otros. Le Monde, defiende su incuestionable eficacia para el baile mientras Vice titula así su crítica:

Magnetismo ha sido producido por Gaby Kerpel, también conocido como King Coya, el álbum recoge colaboraciones com músicos de varios países: la ítalo-francesa Sabina Sciubba de Brazilian Girls, desde Isla de la Reunión Olivier Araste de Lindigo; los colombianos, Puerta Candelaria y
el compositor argentino Gustavo Santaolalla, galardonado con dos Oscars.
