1915ean «El Amor Brujo»-ren lehen bertsioa estreinatu zen. 20 urte geroago, Manuel de Falla konpositoreak bere testamentuan obra hau erreproduzitzea debekatu zuen arren, XX. eta XXI. mendeko koreografo espainiar askorentzat pasabide bihurtu da.
En 1915 se estrena la primera versión de «El Amor Brujo». A pesar de que, veinte años más tarde, el compositor Manuel de Falla prohibió la reproducción de esta obra en su testamento, se ha convertido en un rito de paso para muchos de los grandes coreógrafos españoles del siglo XX y XXI.
