EN EL MARCO DE LA 3ª EDICIÓN DE LA CELEBRACIÓN DE LA FIESTA INTERNACIONAL DE LA MÚSICA
Galería Toro se complace en presentar en 2021 la tercera edición de la celebración de la Fiesta Internacional de la Música* en su espacio, ubicado en el céntrico Barrio de la Magdalena de Granada, tras el éxito y el interés suscitado en las dos anteriores ediciones y habiendo tenido que suspender la edición de 2020 por motivo de la pandemia.
El domingo 20 de junio Galería Toro presenta un evento online para hacer partícipes de la programación de la edición de este año no solamente a la ciudadanía de Granada sino también al resto del mundo. Dicha programación consta de la exposición “Las Estrellas de la Música” del fotógrafo francés Tony Frank, considerado uno de los más importantes fotógrafos de las grandes figuras de la música y el cine internacionales de los últimos cuarenta años, con la proyección del documental “Tony Frank devant l’objectif”; la celebración del 50º aniversario del álbum “Melody Nelson” de Serge Gainsbourg, cuya portada es del también mencionado fotógrafo Tony Frank; y un concierto a cargo de la pianista Ana López Cenizo en torno a las obras del compositor francés Claude Debussy, incluyendo algunas de las más conocidas, así como las inspiradas en la ciudad de Granada.
El evento será retransmitido en directo con un equipo técnico profesional para asegurar la mayor calidad de imagen y sonido. El enlace de acceso al evento estará habilitado hasta el martes 22 de junio por la mañana para aquellas personas que no puedan asistir a la retransmisión en directo.
Agradecemos la colaboración de la Concejalía de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Granada, y los patrocinios del Espacio Joven de la Concejalía de Juventud y de la Fundación Unicaja para que esta tercera edición de la Fiesta Internacional de la Música en el barrio de la Magdalena organizada por Galería Toro pueda consolidarse como un referente anual en el panorama cultural granadino, coincidiendo con el inicio del Festival Internacional de Música y Danza y contribuyendo a las aspiraciones de Granada a ser Capital Europea de la Cultura en 2031.
* El 21 de junio marca no sólo el inicio del verano, sino también la celebración de la Fiesta de la Música. Creada y consolidada en Francia en 1982, actualmente alrededor de 120 países se han sumado a esta manifestación, donde ha obtenido el mismo éxito.
