El septeto granadino sigue de celebración con “Verbena Calavera”, su nuevo y mejor disco publicado hasta la fecha, con el cual han vuelto a reinventarse a sí mismos, yendo más allá de la etiqueta “Gypsy Punk”con la que se dieron a conocer.
“Verbena Calavera” supone para Sonido Vegetal un cambio de perspectiva que refleja su maduración y les ratifica a salvo de cualquier prejuicio o limitación estética, haciéndolos más grandes si cabe, y convirtiéndose en una de las bandas más importantes del panorama musical estatal de los últimos tiempos.
Para este nuevo disco, pese a ser un importante avance expresivo, los durqueños volvieron a contar con la producción de toda una leyenda, Martin Glover “Youth”, miembro de Killing Joke y responsable del sonido de artistas de la talla de Marylin Manson, Pink Floyd, The Verve, The Cult, The Orb, o Dido.
