Emerging technologies have allowed us to use data from cities in order to develop solutions for its citizens in matters such as:
- regulating traffic and congestions,
- pollution and pollination levels,
- collecting and treating waste,
- improving administrative and fiscal procedures.
This conference aims to explore the power of Big Data and Data Science applied to cities and proposes solutions to overcome existing barriers and create an intelligent city with data-driven management.
Speaker: Didier Grimaldi
An accomplished, result-driven professional with 20+ years’ experience focused on digital transformation and Management Consulting. Engaged in multi-cultural organization and international experience as expatriate or permanent detached in various EU countries (France, Spain, Italy, UK). Self-motivated individual with proven ability to work at all levels within an organization with leadership and enjoyable power of communication. Since 2014, associate professor in Master and Bachelor grades for La Salle Business school teaching Innovation, Business Analytics and IT & business alignment. PhD in Management using the application field of Smart City. His research encompasses how the data science allows to improve the management of public or private organizations like cities or corporations.
