Los Minot Heritage Singers nos ofrecerán su único concierto en Barcelona, el próximo domingo 17 de junio a las 21h, en la iglesia de San Ramon de Penyafort, Rambla de Cataluña, 115, Metro Diagonal). La entrada es libre.
Este coro nació en octubre del 1974 en el estado norteamericano de Dakota, como el sueño de cinco hombres cuyo objetivo era promover la música coral de calidad entre su comunidad.
Tras los años, esta formación de cuarenta voces masculinas se ha convertido en toda una institución.
Bajo la dirección de David Jensen, como director principal y con Mike Jensen, Ken Bowles y Jared Olson como directores adjuntos, los Heritage Singers seducen sus públicos en los exitosos conciertos que interpretan tanto en los Estados Unidos, como en sus giras por Noruega, Austria, Alemania, Irlanda, Escocia e Italia recientemente.
El coro actual interpreta obras corales con énfasis en música local, así como temas espirituales, folk, música sacra, e incluso música contemporánea.

Els Minot Heritage Singers ens oferiran el seu únic concert a Barcelona, el proper diumenge 17 de juny a les 21h, a l'església de Sant Ramon de Penyafort, Rambla de Catalunya, 115, Metro Diagonal). L'entrada és lliure.
Aquest cor va néixer l'octubre del 1974 a l'estat nord-americà de Dakota, com el somni de cinc homes que tenien com a objectiu promoure la música coral de qualitat entre la seva comunitat.
Després dels anys, aquesta formació de quaranta veus masculines s'ha convertit en tota una institució.
Sota la direcció de David Jensen, com a director principal i amb Mike Jensen, Ken Bowles i Jared Olson com a directors adjunts, els Heritage Singers sedueixen els seus públics en els exitosos concerts que interpreten tant en els Estats Units, com en les seves gires per Noruega, Àustria , Alemanya, Irlanda, Escòcia i recentment, Itàlia.
El cor actual interpreta obres corals amb èmfasi en música local, així com temes espirituals, folk, música sacra, i fins i tot música contemporània.
