En el año 2018 la Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote puso en marcha una nueva sección dedicada a buscar, rescatar y proyectar películas antiguas de la isla en formatos no profesionales. Con la mirada puesta en la historia audiovisual del archipiélago y con la conciencia clara de que esas imágenes condensaban un gran valor antropológico e histórico, se contó con el sociólogo y cineasta Dailo Barco para comisariar esta sección. La idea era, desde el principio, que cada edición sirviese para presentar materiales antiguos de Lanzarote en Super 8, Video8, 16 mm y otros formatos de carácter no profesional, en los cuales fuese posible reencontrar una isla que ya había desaparecido.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
