SYSTEM OPEN IN MADRID, SPAIN!

We are proud to announce a new System Open Series in Madrid in 2019!

Since this is part of the System Open Series, they will be played using the new Second Edition of X Wing; please, check that your squads meet the legal requirements to participate in this type of tournaments with the X Wing: Squad Builder.

Tickets:
There are two ticket options for this event: Captain and Admiral.

Captain tickets: € 35
The Captain tickets allow your access to the following:

- Main Event of the System Open.
- At the Hyperespace Qualifier on Sunday.
- To all Hangar Bay events both Saturday and Sunday.

Admiral Admission: € 60
Admiral tickets allow you access to the following:

- Main Event of the System Open.
- At the Hyperespace Qualifier on Sunday.
- A All Hangar Bay events both Saturday and Sunday.
- Exclusive System Open Playmat to take home.

Main Event
Registration for the main event will open at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:30 a.m. Players must bring 2 copies of their list. The game mode for this event is "Extended".

Day 1
Players compete in a tournament of 6 Swiss rounds. Game mode extended to 200 points. Players who achieve 5 or more victories will advance to the finals on Sunday. Price Tickets will be awarded for playing the rounds and / or winning them that can be exchanged for prizes!

Day 2
Players who have qualified for the qualifying round can register from 8:00 to 9:30 on Sunday morning. The players will keep the same squad of 200 points they used on Saturday.

Parallel Events

Hyperespace Qualifier:

All players in the main event who are not in the elimination rounds on Sunday can register in the Hyperespace Qualifier. The registration opens at 8:00 and closes at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The event will begin after the heats of the main event have begun. This tournament is played in 6 rounds, and the players in the elimination rounds of the Main Event can join once they have been eliminated until the top 8. For these players it will be considered that they have had a bye for each round that have been lost by playing the Main event.
Players will use 200-point lists in Hyperspace format.

Hangar Bay:
Parallel Hangar Bye events will be available for each player wishing to leave the main event from round 3 on Saturday.
Hangar Bay capsules can also be started from round 3 on Sunday.
Players can choose as format of game for each Capsule of the Hangar Bay both the Extended format and the Hyperspace that can be found in the X Wing application: Squal Builer

As this is part of the 2019 Series of System Opens, they will be played using the new X-Wing Second Edition - please pay attention to the Squad Building requirements below to ensure that your list is legal for this event.

Tickets

There are two ticket options for this event Captain and Admiral Tickets.

Captains Ticket: € 35

Main Event

Registration for the main event opens at 8am on Saturday morning and closes at 9.30am sharp. Players must have 2 copies of their list. The Game Mode for this is 'Extended'.

Day 1

Players compete in a 6 round Swiss tournament. 200 point, Extended Game Mode build. Players with 5 or more wins advance to the Finals on Sunday. Prize tickets will be given to playing round and winning a round that players can redeem for prizes!

Day 2

Players who have qualified for the elimination round register from 8am on Sunday. Registration will close at 9am with the elimination rounds starting soon after. Players will keep the same 200 point build used on Saturday to qualify for the elimination rounds.

Side Events

Hyperspace Qualifier:

All main event players not in the elimination rounds can register for the Hyperspace Qualifier. Registration opens at 8.00am and closes at 9.00am. the event will start after the elimination rounds have started. This is a 6-round tournament. Players in the elimination rounds can enter this event as they are knocked out up the top 8. They enter this event with byes for the rounds they have missed.
The players will play in Hyperespace mode build, 200 points.

Hangar Bay:

Hangar Bay events will be available for any player who wishes to drop from the main event after round 3 on Saturday.

You will also be able to start in Hangar Bay pod after Round 3 on Sunday

Players can choose to play either Extended or Hyperspace Hangar bay pods. The restrictions for these games can be found via the Squad Builder App.
